This morning, I was enjoying my cup of Coffee and start to read my new Magazine FLOW. This is a Dutch Magazine that i never seen before. They have creative items, inspiring items, fun items, nostalgic item, items to make you smile.


In this edition they talked about a website, for people that look for a special group. You can find it there. And if this group doesn’t exist, you can create your own group. For example the group that like to walk on Tuesday mornings, or a group that like to share Sugarbags,….


I was looking for my group,…mooimakers.

When i was a little girl, i wanted to be a mooimaker for profession (Dutch-mooimaker=English-beautymaker). My mama told me that this profession not exist.


But i’m pigheaded. So now i start my own lead-up. I would like to get a group of people that like to make a little change in the world, by doing crazy, funny, weird things to and for other people without hurting them. You know the movie Amelie Poulain? This girl do sweet things for the neighborhood. Make people smile. That is the whole idea of this group. Doing little things, that put a smile on people faces.


This is what i would  like to do. Make people smile. And this morning i started. I am a MOOIMAKER and call it HoppipollaJUMP, inspired by the song from Sigur Ros. My IJslandisch is very poor, but i understand this. Jumping into a Puddle.                     OK DON’T THINK THIS IS A PUDDLE JUMPING CLUB. Nooooo


With this we can do little things, for example write with a group of people(can be you friendgroup, your class, your work, or only you) nice words on cards. These cards you give to people on the street. Maybe they just needed this at this morning. Imagion you have a bad mood in the morning, you walk to your work and a persone, you dont know, give you a card. On this card a text that say, “Life is better with you around”, or “You have a nice smile”. Maybe it put a smile on your face and the day looks totaly different then 5 seconds before. With this little thing, you can make a change. Also it is a bit. But all bits together, make the big.


In the Netherlands is a saying, “All little bits help say the mosquito, and peed in the Sea”


So your ideas are welcome. I hope i find more BEAUTYMAKERS MOOIMAKERS or we call now official HOPPIPOLLAJUMP
